8. Deinstallation of Teamwire

Desktop 4.0.0 or newer
Windows
- Click on Start (windows icon)
- Search for Teamwire
- On Teamwire search result click the right button of the mouse or check the menu on the right of the search result
- Click on "Uninstall", which will open
- Windows 11: "Apps > Installed apps"
- Windows 10: "Programs and Features"
- Scroll down until you find Teamwire
- Windows 11: Click on the "…" button and select on "Uninstall"
- Windows 10: Perform a right click and select "Uninstall"
If you are using a client version below 4.0.17 you also have to delete the data folder
- Open %APPDATA% with the file explorer (Example: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local)
Note: If you want to open the folder manually by clicking, in order to see the folder you need to go to the folder options' "View" tab to enable the option "Hidden files and folders > Show hidden files, folders and drives" ) - Search for the folder "teamwire" and delete it
MacOS
- Open Finder > Applications.
- Choose the teamwire app.
- Press Command + Delete (⌘⌫).
- Empty the Trash by clicking the "Empty" button in the upper-right corner of the window.
Linux
To remove the Teamwire Desktop Client, depending on the system in use, you have to execute one of the following commands on the terminal .
Debian / Ubuntu:
sudo apt remove teamwire
Fedora / RHEL:
sudo dnf remove teamwire
