If you are not sure about the right approach to log in to Teamwire, please contact your administrator.
Registration - Email and SMS
When starting Teamwire for the first time, this option is displayed by default. This is a common two-factor authentication; therefore make sure you have access to your email account and to use a mobile number allowing you to receive the PIN by SMS.
For registration, please follow these steps:
- Provided you are satisfied with the terms of service and privacy policy, please accept them and click Sign up.
- Select your country code and enter your mobile number (without country code),
e.g. 07911123456 or 7911123456. - Enter your business mail address.
- OPTIONAL: Open the Advanced section below for additional network configuration. If a backend hostname is required during the registration process, you can obtain this from your administrator. By default, leave this field empty.
- Open your mailbox. You will receive an email with a weblink to confirm your address. After doing so successfully, return to the Teamwire app and click Yes, I confirmed my email.
- You will receive an SMS with a 6-digit PIN. Enter the PIN into the app.
- Teamwire will automatically start synchronising your messages and contacts. Please do not close the app during this process.
As soon as you enter the message inbox, you are ready to use Teamwire.
Sign in - User ID and password
If your administrator has provided you login information, you can sign in with a password by selecting the option Have a password? Sign in during the registration process from above.
Follow these steps to complete your sign in:
- Enter the user ID (your mail address) that you have been given.
- Enter the password you have been given.
- OPTIONAL: Open the Advanced section below for additional network configuration. If a backend hostname is required during the registration process, you can obtain this from your administrator. By default, leave this field empty.
- Teamwire will automatically start synchronising your messages and contacts. Please do not close the app during this process.
As soon as you enter the message inbox, you are ready to use Teamwire.
To sign in with a user ID (email) and password, your Teamwire administrator has to have enabled the feature on the server. Your password will be provided by the admin. For security and privacy reasons, you should change your password after your first login. Please take a look at Change Password for more information.
Sign in - Registry / Config
Your Teamwire or IT system administrator might configure an automated sign in process for the Teamwire app. In that case, simply start your Teamwire app and it will proceed with your sign in fully automated.
