When starting Teamwire, the [[image:Public.Applications.iOS.User-Manual.WebHome@icons-messages.svg]] **Chats** tab is shown by default. It shows all chats you are involved in.

As you receive new messages, you will find a badge on the Chats tab showing the number of **unread chats**. The respective chat which received new messages will have a badge showing the number of **unread messages**. Inside the chat, new messages are visually indicated from already read content by a separator.

Your inbox provides four tabs which allow you to switch between the most important chat type criteria.
