  FAQ

Both features contain a predefined group of people which allow you to easily

  • create a new group chats.
  • add more members to an existing group chat.

Circles are managed by your administrator in the Teamwire Dashboard and cannot be edited by a user. They are either available to all circle members, or even all members of an organisation (so-called "Public Circle"). Circles often represent a department or project team.

Lists can be created by any Teamwire user and are available to their directory only. Users of list will not know they are part of a list. When a chat is created, the list is parsed into its individual users which are added as independent chat participants. Unlike circles, they will be directly listed in the list of chat members, similar to a mailing list.
